I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Ronnie Delany, one of the greatest figures in the history of Irish sport and a cherished Freeman of the City of Dublin.
On behalf of the people of Dublin, I extend my heartfelt condolences to all who knew and loved him.

All messages of sympathy will be printed and forwarded in a Book of Condolence to Mr. Delany’s family.
