Proposed Installation of CCTV at Dublin City Council Bring Bank Sites

Dublin City Council is seeking public perspectives on a proposal to install CCTV at selected bring‑bank recycling sites across the city. The aim of this initiative is to reduce illegal dumping, improve the cleanliness and safety of bring‑bank locations, support enforcement activity where necessary, and enhance the overall recycling experience for users.

We are inviting residents, local businesses and anyone who uses bring‑bank facilities to share their views. The consultation covers your current use of bring‑bank sites, your perceptions of site conditions, your views on the potential installation of CCTV, and any privacy or data‑protection considerations you may have.

Your feedback will help inform how Dublin City Council manages bring‑bank facilities and whether CCTV should be introduced at specific locations. The survey takes only a few minutes to complete, and all responses will be considered as part of the decision‑making process.

Why Your Participation Matters

Taking part in this survey helps Dublin City Council understand how bring‑bank recycling sites are being used and what issues matter most to the people who rely on them. Your input will guide decisions on whether CCTV should be installed, how it might improve site conditions, and what privacy and data‑protection considerations need to be addressed.
