Survey
Why your view matters:
Public consultation is required before the introduction of a CCTV scheme. The main purpose of this consultation is to understand the concerns of street users regarding illegal dumping and the use of CCTV. It also aims to ensure transparency in the decision making process.
Your participation in this survey is valuable and will help shape decisions around the use of CCTV in your neighbourhood. However, please note that a decision to deploy CCTV in the chosen areas has already been made based on urgent need. Your responses will inform the scheme's implementation and help us address community concerns.
How to have your say:
We would love to hear your views on this scheme. In particular, we'd like to know:
· Your concerns regarding illegal dumping.
· Your thoughts on CCTV effectiveness.
· Any specific concerns you may have regarding CCTV use in your neighbourhood.
To have your say, take part in our online survey, which will run from 8 May 2025 until midnight on 22 May 2025. Alternatively, you can email us your comments or feedback within the same time frame. If you wish to provide feedback by post, put your written submission in a sealed envelope marked ‘CCTV Scheme 2 Feedback’ and send it to the address above.
