Under Section 48 of the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended)
Notice is hereby given that Dublin City Council has prepared a Draft Section 48 Development Contribution Scheme in accordance with the provisions of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended)
Details of the proposed contributions under the Draft Development Contribution Scheme 2026-2029 for the administrative area of Dublin City Council are as follows:
Description of Development Amount of Contribution
Industrial/Commercial €128.10 per square metre of industrial/commercial development
Residential €122.85 per square metre of residential development

Copies of the Draft Scheme are also available to view at the Planning Department Public Counter, Ground Floor Block 4, Civic Office Wood Quay Dublin 8 during office opening hours from Thursday 5th March to Monday 20th April 2026 inclusive.
Submissions or observations in respect of the proposed Draft Development Contribution Scheme may be made not later than 17:00hrs on Monday 20th April 2026.
The planning process is an open and public one. In that context, all submissions or observations are a matter of public record, and may be placed on the City Council’s website.
