Where will the works take place?
The works will take place on Kilkieran Road and Dunmanus Road.

What works will take place?
The works will consist of:
Rigid, yellow pencil bollards will be installed along the northern side of Kilkieran Road outside both schools and on the southern side on the corner of Dunmanus Road opposite Cabra Community College. These are depicted as purple dots on the design drawing.
All vehicular entrances to remain unobstructed.

School Zone road surface signs will be painted directly on roads to the east and west of both schools on Kilkieran Road. These are to advise motorists they are in a School Zone and to drive accordingly.

School Ahead signs with flashing amber signals will be installed to the to the east and west of both schools on Kilkieran Road and south of both schools on Dunmanus Road. These will operate at school drop-off and collection times only.

Footpath buildouts with tactile paving on both corners of Kilkieran Road and Dunmanus Road to tighten the junction and slow vehicular traffic.

Two new zebra crossings will be installed on Kilkieran Road - one on the eastern end of St. Finbarr's boundary and the other to the east of Cabra Community College school gate.
