Feedback

11 August 2025 - 24 August 2025

Why your views matter

Dublin City Council invites you to share your opinion in this non-statutory public consultation. Your feedback is vital in helping us to understand how this proposed School Zone might impact all road users and the measures might be improved.

All responses will be carefully reviewed and considered as part of the decision-making. Please give your feedback up to midnight on Sunday, 24 August.

How to have your say

Submissions can be made using one of the methods below:

  • Fill out our short survey on this page by clicking 'Take the Survey'
  • Email sustainablemobility@dublincity.ie with either Gaelscoil Míde and/or North Bay ET in the subject
  • Phone Dublin City Council Customer Service desk on 01 222 2222 and ask to be referred to the Sustainable Mobility team in the Traffic Department
  • Post your feedback to Sustainable Mobility, City Centre Projects, Floor 7, Block 2, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8, D08 RF3F

What happens next?

We will review all the comments and observations and, where appropriate, make required changes to the design. Works will then be scheduled for installation.

For the front-of-school treatment to work effectively, parents who need to drive must be willing to change their drop off and pick up habits. Parents and guardians will be encouraged not to drop off or collect within the School Zone. They must park respectfully and legally outside of the School Zone by not blocking other entrances, mounting footpaths or double parking.

A hard copy poster of the design will be on view at the school gate from Monday, 11 August 2025.
