Sofa to Saddle - St. Anne's Park
Dublin City Council is delighted to announce its inaugural Sofa to Saddle programme in association with Age & Opportunity. The eight-week course will start on Monday, 23 March at 10.30am in St. Anne's Park in Raheny.
The course is for anyone over 55 who can cycle a bike but would like more confidence. The focus of the course is to relearn cycling basics - balance, bike control, using gears and brakes - to cycle independently at the end of the eight weeks.
Participants must have their own bike in good working condition and the right size.
We will celebrate the end of the course with a short bike ride and coffee during Bike Week in May.
The course is free but registration is essential. By giving Dublin City Council your contact information, you are consenting to being contacted about the course by a member of staff.
Please note, the programme is not suitable for people who cannot cycle a bike.
