Dublin City Council (DCC) would like to invite the public to have their say on the proposed Lansdowne Valley Park Active Travel Scheme. This scheme will deliver a 1.2-kilometre walking and cycling path through Lansdowne Valley Park. This proposed scheme is part of the Camac Greenway. It will link Davitt Road and Slievebloom Road with a high-quality walking and cycling path through Lansdowne Valley Park. This will provide a more direct connection to Drimnagh Village and public transport facilities such as the Luas and bus stops. This scheme proposes to: Widen and resurface the existing path, converting it to a ‘Share with Care’ facility for pedestrians and cyclists Extend this path through the currently closed section of park, which previously housed a pitch and putt course Modify existing access points to the park and provide a new access point at Mourne Road Instal ducting for potential future public lighting Provide new bike stands and a bike repair station The scheme is part of Dublin City Council's Active Travel Network.
