Under Section 48 of the Planning & Development Act 2000 (as amended)
Notice is hereby given that Dublin City Council has prepared a Draft Section 48 Development Contribution Scheme in accordance with the provisions of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (as amended)
Details of the proposed contributions under the Draft Development Contribution Scheme 2026-2029 for the administrative area of Dublin City Council are as follows:
Description of Development Amount of Contribution
Industrial/Commercial €128.10 per square metre of industrial/commercial development
Residential €122.85 per square metre of residential development

Observations
The public consultation period for the Draft Sn 48 Development Contribution Scheme ended on the 20th April 2026. There were 14 submissions received during the consultation period which can be viewed below. All submissions will be taken into consideration before the final scheme is made by the Elected Members of the City Council.
